Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector – Champagne Pop

First off let me start by saying I am in love with Jaclyn Hill. I think she is an amazing makeup artist and seems like the sweetest person. So, when this highlighter came out I immediately had to buy it. Yes, I  was one of those people waiting by their computer all day to get it when it first came out. It did not disappoint. This highlighter is absolutely gorgeous. It is $46 Canadian for 8g of product which is the same size as Becca’s other Shimmering Skin Perfectors. It’s in the same packaging as Becca’s other highlighters which includes a nice mirror in the compact. It is limited edition and was sold out for a while but is back in stock. Pictures do not do this product justice, thats for sure.

Sephora’s website describes the colour as soft white gold with peachy pink undertones. I think this highlighter leans way more towards peach so, I don’t think very fair people with pink undertones would like this. I have a more neutral undertone in my skin and I think it looks good on me.

There is a lot of shimmer (not glitter) in this product. A light hand should probably be used with this on the first try and then build it up to the level of fleek you want to me.The longevity of this product isn’t the absolute best but I got about 6 hours of wear time before it started to disappear on my skin.

Overall, I think this product is a real winner. Every time I wear it I get compliments on how glowing I am or how good my skin looks. I have recommended this to so many people already and I think they are starting to get that this is amazing. My favourite brushes to apply this with is the Real Techniques Setting Brush, the MAC 187 brush, or the Morphe M438 depending on how much I want the product to show up that day. This has quickly become the highlight I reach for.
