Favourites From the Drugstore – Concealers

Finding gems at the drugstore is like striking gold. It’s amazing how exciting it can be to find products at the drugstore that compares or is better than a product  5x the price. Thats why I like to celebrate when I do. This post will be all about my favourite drugstore concealers. I pretty much only use drugstore concealers because they’re so effective.

I bet if you were to ask people what is their must have makeup product a lot of them would say concealer. I know I would. I  mostly use these concealers under my eyes because thats where my problem area is but, I have heard that all of these are great for blemishes as well.  Here are my top 3 drugstore concealers!!

My number one would have to be Maybelline Fit Me Concealer.

This conceal is definitely full coverage and blends amazingly. It highlights under the eyes but not in an obvious way, just subtly. This product dries to a semi matte finish so you don’t need to set it, but I always do. It has a doe foot applicator which makes for quick and easy application. I have repurchased this concealer about 3 times and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.

Next would be Maybelline Master Conceal. As you can probably tell I have this concealer in my winter shade which is why it looks so much lighter than the other two.

This product is also full coverage but is a little more thin than the other two concealers. This concealer can be sheered out if you want less coverage. It goes on super creamy and looks very natural when blended out. The packaging is a squeeze tube which isn’t my favourite but I can get passed it because I love the formula so much.

For a while there so many people were talking about the LA Girl Pro Concealer and I could not for the life of me get a hold of it. I recently spotted it at my local drugstore and picked it up. I’ve only had it for about a month but I’ve already put a good dent in it. This is the closest dupe I’ve found to the MAC Pro Longwear concealer at the drugstore.

The coverage on this concealer is full and the product itself is quite thick. It brightens up the undereye area and melts into the skin. I do find that this concealer can be a bit drying under the eyes so I make sure to use a good eye cream before I apply it. There is hype around this product for good reason.

My favorite ways to blend out those 3 concealers are not super affordable but get the job done in a hurry. I love to use my Sigma F86 Tapered Kabuki and my Beauty Blender. These are both fantastic for under the eyes as they’re both pointed at the ends. Neither of them soaks up too much product but blends concealers out like a dream.

What are your favourite drugstore concealers? Any other hidden gems I need to check out from the drugstore?
