October 2015 Ipsy Bag

I’ve been getting Ipsy Glam Bag for a little over a year now and I thought I would show you guys what I get in my bag each month. Each month, subscribers will receive a beautiful Glam Bag with deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. You also get a small cosmetics bag each month. The subscription to Ipsy is $14.95 a month which includes shipping to Canada. Unfortunately the price is in USD so it comes out to be about $20 a month.

That being said, it is usually worth it to me to get this subscription bag.

This month I got two full sized products and 3 deluxe sample size products.

I got the Ayres Pampas Sunrise Hand Cream. This cream says that it has essential oils of lemongrass and patchouli. It smells a bit musky and I’m not the biggest fan of the scent of this product so I don’t see myself reaching for it but it does make the skin soft. I’ll probably pass this along to someone else.

Next I got the Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long-Lasting Liquid lipstick from The Balm. This is in the shade committed. I love liquid lipsticks so I was super excited to get this. It’s also a nice rosy brown shade and this dries down to a matte finish. It’s a nice everyday nude color. After trying this I really want more of these. ALL THE LIQUID LIPSTICKS.

I love getting skincare samples so try and travel with so I love that I got the LeAnni Eco Go Away Gloomy Day Serum. I don’t have a serum that I use regularly so it’s nice to get a sample of one to try. It’s pretty liquidy so I’m just assuming I put it on a cotton pad. I’ll try it out and see.

I also love getting nail polish because that means I don’t have to go out and buy some. This is a full size product and it is  the Aurora Gel Effect Nail Laquer in Inky Dinky (giggle). It’s a nice dark almost black navy color. It looks like it will be nice and shiny.

Let me know if you guys want to see my favourite fall/winter nail polishes!

The last thing I got is an eyeliner, which I’m meh about. This is from Coastal Scents and it is their Xpress Line in a black color. I don’t love wooden pencils so I don’t see myself using this because I poke myself in the eye. It’s also not as creamy and pigmented as I would like. It does smudge out nicely though so it would work well for a smokey eye.

This bag was a pretty good bag. I’m mostly excited about the liquid lipstick because I just love them so much. The bag this month is also a nice bright gold bag.

Are there any subscription boxes/bags that are good but also ship to Canada? Let me know!
