Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Review

DSC00318

I kept seeing this mascara in different beauty bloggers hauls and it made me curious. So of course I went on the hunt and found it at a Lawtons.

First off the packaging. It looks like it would be a double ended mascara and its not. I like how they didn’t use the original falsies packing and make it a different color. I like the sleekness and shine to this tube. It just feels nice to hold. I also like the color of the tube so it’s easy to spot in my drawer so I can just grab it.

The claims of this mascara:

  • Push up cup brush with cup-shaped bristles scoops and lifts lashes
  • New creamy plumping formula delivers instant volume and holds lift in place
  • Its best for volume, lift and drama
  • Over the top lashes for a glammed up look

This mascara has a rubber wand. So, depending on what your preferences are you may not like this. I tried this mascara with waterproof mascara on first and without waterproof mascara. I liked it when I put the waterproof mascara on first but not so much when just using it on its own.

It gave great volume. My lashes looked really full! It didn’t clump and separated my lashes really nicely. But, as with most mascaras is didn’t hold a curl on my lashes without waterproof mascara on first. It also didn’t give a ton of length. I like mascaras to give me a lot of length especially for my lower lashes and this just didn’t do the trick.

It’s definitely not the worst mascara I’ve tried but I probably wouldn’t repurchase is because I have others that I like more.
