L’oreal Pro Glow Foundation Review

Finally a glowy foundation at the drugstore! After seeing so many different people talk about this and love it I had to go searching. After a couple weeks of searching I finally found this beauty at Shoppers Drug Mart.

The description from the L’oreal website: Discover the new pro finish of long wear. Get up to 24hrs of hydrating glow. Lightweight and creamy, the foundation goes on smooth with a glow finish that lasts. Instantly hide imperfections for a clear complexion with this medium coverage foundation. Ideal for normal to dry skin.

It comes in 12 different shades. The shade range isn’t great. They didn’t really cater to darker skin tones as much. At my drugstore I only found about 7 shades.

The Price: I paid $18 for this foundation on sale. The regular price was $20. I did find it on the Walmart website for $17.

This foundation is making it’s way to be one of my favourite foundations ever! It’s very lightweight but provides a medium coverage. I like a medium coverage foundation because I find sometimes a full coverage foundation can look too heavy and cakey on my skin. It covers discolouration I have on my skin and what it doesn’t cover I go in with concealer anyways. It is on the thinner side of foundations in consistency.

I like that this foundation leaves my skin looking really healthy. It’s not a greasy formula but is definitely glowy. The glow is easy to tame down though, if you want to with a mattifying powder. I will use a radiance primer under this and it doesn’t look too much. That being said, to me, there really isn’t such a thing as too much glow. I would say it lasts about 6 hours before it starts to wear off. It claims to wear 24 hours but I’m not about to wear my foundation for 24 hours straight. It wears off very evenly and doesn’t leave you looking patchy.

Overall, I really love this foundation and will probably be getting it in more shades so I can use it year round!

Did you pick this up? What do you think?
