Artis Brush Dupe feat. Amazon

Brushes like these have been going around the beauty community for a while now. These toothbrush looking makeup brushes are the latest and greatest in brushes.  The original (to my knowledge) brand that came out with brushes like this is Artis Makeup Brushes.  These brushes are only online and range in price from 35-95$ per brush. This is also is USD$.

So, of course, lots of brands started to come out with dupes to these incredibly pricey brushes. One of my favourite spots to shop for beauty products is Amazon and there is a done of Artis dupes on Amazon. So, today I’ll be talking about a set of Artis brush dupes I found.

This brush set contains 10 brushes for face, eyes, and lips. The set of 10 brushes is currently $21.35 on Amazon.ca. The link to the brushes can be found here. All of this brushes are rose gold in colour.

I must admit the only brushes in this set I really use are the foundation brush and the brush for nose contour. I’d always wanted to try contouring my nose but didn’t think I had the right brush for it. Now since these brushes don’t have numbers on them the ones I use are the second biggest for foundation and the second one in from the left for nose contour.

The foundation brush provides such great, natural coverage with my favourite foundations. With these brushes you are supposed to glide the product on and not buff it. It makes my foundation glide on so smoothly and flawlessly. The only con with these brushes is that they bend when your using them. It’s just the face brushes that do this because I push  harder with face brushes. It is a little annoying when the brush is bending but it’s something I can get past.

The brush I use for nose contouring is the perfect size and shape for this. It’s very slim and picks up enough product that it will show up but not too much that it looks really unnatural.

Not saying the other brushes are bad. I don’t really love these type of brushes for powder, bronzer, and blush though. So, I don’t really reach for any of the other brushes in this set other than the two I’ve already talked about. All in all, I’d say this was a pretty good Amazon find and I’m really pleased that I tried out brushes like this.
