Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer

Lately my skin has not been a happy camper. My skin has been dry, uncomfortable, and my foundation is not looking great. The change in the weather has really gotten to me so I have been looking for products to make my skin look less like crocodile skin when I’m wearing makeup. I thought since so many people in the beauty community have talked about how hydrating and nourishing this primer is I would give it a go. Today I’ll be talking all about the very buzzed about Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer.

The Claims: This primer is infused with coconut water, probiotics and skin revivers that work together to boost skin’s radiance, promote elasticity and help hydrate while locking down makeup for fresher, longer and more flawless wear. The primer is supposed to give the look of more energy to your skin. It can be worn alone or under foundation for lasting radiance. It gives a healthy, dewy looking finish to the skin. Some active ingredients in this primer include Coconut water and probiotics.

How amazing does that sound for dry winter skin? Once I read the description and maybe a few reviews on the Sephora website I knew I needed it.

You can get this primer on Sephora.com or on TooFaced.com. It is 40$ CAD on both websites.

First off let me say, I’m loving this primer. I love the idea behind this primer being if you skin feels hungover from wearing too much makeup then this is your solution. This primer provides great hydration and illumination making me look like I have a healthy glow to my skin. It makes me look like I got 8 hours of sleep and drank lots of water the day before! I can’t really ask for more in a makeup product. I also didn’t notice my makeup breaking up on my skin. I don’t have a problem with makeup leaving my face since my skin is dry but this made my skin feel pretty hydrated all day. If this primer couldn’t get any better it also smells a bit like coconut.

I also really like the packaging of this primer. I can be a sucker for packaging but this primer is just so cute. It’s pink and just so cute. I like that this primer is a pump because it feels much more hygienic that way.

I think this would work for any skin type! You would just have to adjust how much you use and which foundation you use over it. But who doesn’t need a bit of hydrating in the winter?

Let me know if you’ve tried this and what you think!!

Whats your favourite winter skin saver?

May I ask why too faced always has such suggestive names for their products. Like, I mean I love their mascara, but its kind of embarrassing to take out in public. I also went through a time when my skin was like that of a crocodile’s. For me, simplly moisturizing more and taking better care of my face did the trick– although there was a rimmel bb cream which I then stopped using that I think also helped my skin. So its true that sometimes products really make the face. I happen to love too faced products, so their primer is probably amazing.

This primer looks and sounds amazing! I’m a sucker for anything that says coconut lol. It’s crazy because although I have oily skin, the winter makes my foundation look like I hae drier skin. I really need to pick this one up!

Great review, I would love to try this primer too. My skin is dry all year round, so as soon as I run out of my Becca primer, will try this one!

Yeah, my skin could definitely go for some extra hydration in the winter! It sounds like this primer works really well, I’ll have to check it out when my current one is used up.

i’ve never tried any too faced product and i’m making my mission to try out their chocolate bar palette if i were to get my hands on my first too faced product. i’ve heard about this primer from kathleenlights too and she loves it so much. i’m not sure if i’m gonna love it because it’s a hydrating primer and i have combo to oily skin 😛

I’ve used samples of this primer in the past and I absolutely love how hydrating it feels on the skin. I have a few primers and I really want to go through a couple before I buy anymore but this is one that I would definitely pick up the full size in.
