In Flight Beauty Essentials

With it being summer and such a huge time for travelling I thought I would round up all of the beauty products I think are most important to have with me on a long flight. I got back from Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago, which was an incredibly long flight, and I plan on taking 3 more trips this summer with 2+ hour flights. I almost never check a bag but along with my suitcase, I’ll take a little backpack or purse to store all of my essential products (…and wallet, passport, etc.). All of these products will be coming with me on all of my flights.

Here are a couple of my must have in flight products:

For me, makeup wipes are an absolute must have. I usually wear a tiny bit of makeup to the airport (concealer, brows, tinted balm) and I love to get on the plane and take it all off. It makes my skin feels so good and clean. It usually doesn’t matter what makeup wipes they are but I gots to have them. You can actually get travel sized makeup wipes (10 per pack) but I didn’t have them on hand. The ones above are what I’m currently using. They are the Yes To Coconut Cleansing Wipes.

After I take off all of my makeup, I love to mist my face and put on some moisturizer. I can’t even tell you how many weird looks have been thrown my way on planes because I’m doing a bit of skincare. I’ll give my face a good mist and following that, I’ll use a heavier cream or a leave-on mask. The plane sucks all the life and moisture out of my skin and if I don’t take good care of it in-flight I’ll break out. Travel sizes of these products are a must! I’m always on the lookout for these products as points-perks or just little samples I can buy. Above is the Mario Badescu Facial Spray and Ren Global Protection Day Cream.

Once I’m all done with prepping my skin for the flight I need a good lip balm. Talk about sucking the moisture out of my skin, lets talk about my lips! My lips are dry most of the time so lip balm in flight is non-negotiable. Once I forgot to pack lip balm in my carry on and went out of my way to buy some at the airport because I needed it that badly! The lip balm I’ve been obsessed with lately is the Sol De Janerio Brazilian Kiss Cupuacu Lip Butter. It smells like coconuts and summer.

Non Beauty Essentials: I always have my iPad Mini with me on flights so I can read or watch movies. It’s really helpful if the in-flight movie system isn’t working. I also need a sleeping eye mask! I like to sleep on flights to pass the time but never can if it’s too bright. It also helps people not bother me hehe.

What are your beauty and non beauty in flight essentials? Let me know!
