Beauty Empties | REVIEW

Yet another fun time of looking through my trash. But really, these posts are one of my favourites to do because its a chance to give small reviews on a bunch of products at once and also I get to throw all this stuff out that has been collecting for a few months. I have quite a few products to talk about so lets just get started! I’m going to do small reviews on each product so you get an idea of what I liked and what I didn’t.

The Good:

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream: I used this cream as my night time moisturizer and really liked it. I found it really hydrating and it’s great for sensitive skin. I would repurchase this but I’m too addicted to trying other skincare.

Sol De Janeiro Lip Butter: This was a great, hydrating lip balm. I kept it in my purse and used it throughout the day. It kept my lips really soft and has a really nice smell/taste. I’m not sure I’d repurchase this though, because of the price.

Simple Micellar Water: This is my favourite affordable Micellar Water. It removes makeup amazingly and is really gentle on my skin. I recommend this to everyone! I will be repurchasing this as soon as I run out of another micellar water I’m using.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara: My all time favourite mascara! This mascara is in every single on of my empties. It holds a curl, separates my lashes, and provides great definition. This makes my lashes look better than any other mascara. I will repurchase this over and over again!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Brightener: I love this medium coverage under-eye brightener! It’s my all time favourite. It covers up well and makes me look like I got way more sleep than I did. I have already repurchased this!

Rosebud Perfume Co. Menthol and Eucalyptus Lip Balm: I use this lip balm at work and I love how much it hydrates and adds a little shine to my lips. The smell is really nice a refreshing. I have already repurchased this and love it!

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask: I used this as a night time moisturizer and it left my skin super soft and hydrated in the morning! My skin also looked brighter when I used this. I will be repurchasing this!

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid: This was a great serum. It was really hydrating and I feel like it helped my other skincare products work a lot better. I already repurchased this and it’s on its way.

Batiste Dry Shampoo: I always have these in my product empties! My favourite scent is Lotus but I like most of them. Here I have 2 of the Lotus Scent and a Sweetie scent. I obviously already have some of these repurchased.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: I love this lip balm. I keep it in my night stand and use it every night before bed. I wake up with some still on my lips. I also use this before wearing all liquid lipsticks. I already have another jar of this.

Vaseline Cocoa Body Butter: I love this body butter! I use this all year long because it leaves my skin so soft. It gives my skin a bit of radiance too. I have already repurchased this!

Kopari Coconut Rose Toner: This provided my skin with a lot of nice hydration and the smell was to die for. It also doubles as a nice refresher throughout the day. I will definitely be repurchasing this. I love it.

The Meh:

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara: This mascara did hardly anything for my lashes. It didn’t curl them, didn’t really coat them in much mascara. I prefer a wet formula and this one was too dry. I won’t be repurchasing this.

Sol De Janeiro Brazillian Bum Bum Cream: This cream was really nice and hydrating, had a great smell, but I didn’t find it worth the price. It also didn’t tighten my skin which it claims to do. I wouldn’t repurchase this.

Sephora Collection Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes: These just aren’t my favourite wipes and are a bit expensive. I really prefer ones from the drugstore compared to these. They removed my makeup fine but I don’t think I’ll get these again.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid: This was just okay. I feel like it did exfoliate my skin and leave it more radiant but I prefer the Pixi Glow Tonic to this one. I’d much rather spend a little more and get the Pixi one.

L’Occitane Immortale Eye Balm: Again, just not my favourite eye cream. I’m currently using a different one that’s much cheaper and I like it more. It was hydrating but I don’t think I’ll buy this again.

Cake Beauty Dry Shampoo: It’s just not as good as my Batiste Dry Shampoo and more than twice the cost. The smell is so nice but it didn’t fake clean my hair as much as I like. I probably won’t buy this again.
