October Beauty Favourites

It’s that time of the month again. And no, not the bad time where you cry and laugh in the same sentence. It’s the time of the month where I share my current favourite beauty products! I don’t do this every month because I don’t try a ton of new beauty products every month but I love talking about the ones I’m currently obsessed with. I think this month I have a really good round up of some great products.

If you want to know what products I’ve been loving for the past month or so, keep on reading!

My friend and I got this foundation around the same time. It’s The Ordinary Serum Foundation. We work together and our hours are extremely long. We work 12+ hour days, are on our feet all day, and get a bit sweaty from time to time. At the end of a day when we were both wearing this foundation, we looked at each other and said “You know, our skin still looks pretty good”. If that isn’t enough to sell you then I don’t know what is. I have a full review on The Ordinary Serum Foundation here

To go along with that last foundation, the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder makes my skin look pretty flawless. This is one of the only powders that doesn’t make my dehydrated skin look really dry and dull. I use this powder to bake underneath my eyes and also set my whole face. This powder is a cult favourite for a reason!

Since I ran out of my Stila Liquid Lipstick in Patina I’ve felt a bit of a void in my life. Was that dramatic? Oh well. But, when I came across the Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Marvellous Mauve I knew I had found a great dupe. Not only does it smell identical to the Stila Liquid Lipstick, the formula is the same and the colour is pretty much the same. I love the non-drying formula of these Sephora Liquid Lipsticks. I’ll probably pick up some more during the VIB sale!

This is my go-to night cream every fall/winter. It’s the Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins Cream. It’s a really nice, rich cream that is super hydrating. Have I mentioned I have dry skin? My skin feels super plump and hydrated when I wake up the morning after using this cream. It also smells really nice. It smells sort of citrusy, like oranges. It’s a gorgeous cream.

This mask from amazon fixes all skin problems. It is the Aztec Sceret Indian Healing Clay mask. Not only does it last forever but it’s mega cheap. For 1lb of this mask it’s around $17. To use, you mix this powder clay mask with water and apply to your face. It hurts a bit, but makes my pores pretty much invisible. I have a full review on this mask here.

Are there any products you have been loving over the last couple of months? I need VIB sale recommendations!
