Ulta Beauty Brand | REVIEW

As some of you may know, I went to Miami in February and went to Ulta a couple (3 times in 3 days) times and went a little HAM. I had never tried anything from the Ulta brand and was super excited that the brand was Buy 3, Get 2 free. I think I got a good variety of products without going completely overboard.

So, today I’ll be talking all about some of the Ulta Beauty products I picked up.

I picked up a couple face products, a couple lip products, and an eye product to try.

Let’s start off with the face products! I first wanted to try the Ulta Beauty Full Coverage Liquid Concealer. I love a full coverage concealer and I’m constantly trying to find one that will compete with my Tarte Shape Tape. This one has great coverage and I don’t find it drying under my eyes. It has a matte finish. Unfortunately, I don’t find it as full-coverage as my Tarte Shape Tape. Another thing I’m not crazy about it that I got the lightest shade which is Light-Cool and it’s a little too dark for me at the moment. So, that kind of sucks.

I also got the Pressed Setting Powder. It’s a lightweight powder that gives the skin a matte finish and sets your face makeup. I usually use a loose powder but I like to travel with a pressed powder. I got the shade Fair to Light and it’s perfect for me. I find this sets my makeup really nicely and doesn’t make my skin look too dry or powdery. I can use this under the eyes and on my entire face. This is a really nice powder.

For lip products I knew I wanted to buy the Ulta Juice Infused Lip Oil. It provides the lips with moisture and smooths them out. I have to say, I’m obsessed with this product. I’ll use it over just lip liner or on top of lipstick and it makes my lips look super juicy. I also love how much moisture it provides and they also smell/taste really good. I got the Peach scent one.

Because of my huge obsession with matte lipsticks I picked up the Matte Lip Cream in the shade Vivid. This lipstick has a whipped-like formula and I don’t find it drying at all. The colour I chose isn’t super flattering on me but I’ll try it out with some different makeup looks to make it work. This lipstick does fade a little bit over time but the last power is pretty decent!

The one product that I’m particularly disappointed in is the Tinted Eye Primer. I was expecting this to be a matte cream eye primer but it is pure sparkle. I can’t put this all over my eyes because I only use shimmer on my lips and it makes my crease look super sparkly. I have barely used this and don’t really see myself using it.
