June Beauty Favourites

Finally summer is upon us in Halifax. We’ve had a good week of nice ish weather and I feel like summer is finally here. So, I’ve busted out all of my coral makeup items and I’ve been loving it. I don’t feel like its summer yet until I wear coral on my eyes, my cheeks, and my lips. Is that crazy of me?

So today I’ll be talking about a couple beauty products I have been loving this past month!

I love a good face mist and what it adds to my skincare routine. I use a face mist instead of a toner because I find I can get more out of them. My favourites are ones that add hydration and the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe and Rosewater is my favourite. I’ve discovered in the past year that I have pretty sensitive eyes and when I use certain facial sprays they really irritate them. This one is amazing. It doesn’t irritate my eyes, it smells great, it’s refreshing, and it adds an extra layer of hydration. It’s also super affordable.

The Mayebelline Superstay Matte Ink Liquid lipsticks are some of the best at the drugstore. They aren’t drying, they stay put, and they are pigmented AF. My go-to bold lip this past month has been the colour Heroine. It’s this gorgeous red/orange coral that just packs a huge punch. It’s super pretty.

For a nice, pigmented coral blush I have been loving the J Cat Beauty Love Struck blush in Snookums. I was super surprised at the great formula of this drugstore blush. It’s only $5 and it’s nicely pigmented. It also blends out super well. I have one more colour in this blush thats really nice, too and I want more!

I have loved the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Brightener forever but weirdly never tried the actual concealer in this formula. This concealer is really great at covering up my dark circles. I use the brightener and concealer in combination to cover and brighten my dark circles. This concealer is really creamy and pigmented. Love this so much!

I didn’t even mean to make this a Maybelline favourites but oh well. I have been loving the Lemonade Craze palette to create nice summertime eye looks. The shimmer shadows are really pretty and the matte colours are really blendable. I love that you can create a whole look with this palette. It’s just so pretty and summery. I did a full review on this palette here.

What products have you been loving lately? Are you like me and switch everything to coral this time of year?
