Ole Henrikson Walnut Scrub

For the longest time I didn’t use a face exfoliator. I don’t know why. Maybe laziness? I just thought of it as a skincare step I didn’t need. But, during the Sephora Appreciation sale, I thought that I may as well pick one up and see if it does anything for my skin. I scoured all of the exfoliators, read all the reviews and landed on the Ole Henrikson Transforming Walnut Scrub. 

Today I’ll be talking about my new exfoliator and how I like it. 

The Ole Henrikson Walnut Scrub is a cleansing facial scrub. It is formulation with a blend of walnut powder, ginseng, and chamomile extracts. It is meant to purify skin, make skin more vibrant, and smooth the skins texture to look more youthful. The walnuts act as a scrub but this scrub also foams. 

This scrub can be purchased from the Sephora website here. It is $34 (CAD). 

After using this cleanser every other day for a few weeks, I can tell a difference in my skin. I find my skincare applies more evenly and so does my makeup. It makes my skin feel so much softer than without it. The texture of my skin has improved so much. I’m definitely a face exfoliator convert now!

I think this scrub would work well for many different skin types. Depending on how much product you use, how much water you use, and how much pressure you apply, you can get a totally different outcome. I don’t feel like this scrub dries or strips my skin, either. 

This scrub does everything it says it will. The scent is also really pleasant. It smells like amaretto.
