  • Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer

The feminine urge I have to buy the Dyson Airwrap because of Tik Tok is absolutely crazy. I want to buy it so badly but my bank account stops me every time. The blown out effortless hair style is so in right now. So, I took a baby step and bought the Revlon Dryer and Volumizer brush. Did I expect the Revlon product to be as good or do the same things that the Dyson does? No. But it’s also a fraction of the price. Today I’ll be talking all about the Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer. The Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer is a 1100-Watt…

  • My Hair History

I’m the type of person who loves to switch up my hair colour. I’m sure sometimes I frustrate/excite my hairstylist sometimes but she seems to be up for whatever I have in my head. I always feel like a completely new and refreshed person when I switch up my hair colour. It is one of those things that can really boost my self confidence. Today I’ll be going through a bit of my hair history. I can’t go through all of it because I have had every colour under the sun from black to blonde to red and everything in between. I do have to preface this post by saying…

  • End of Summer Beauty Empties

I know, I know, I know. Another beauty empties. But I’m telling you, they never stop. I’m constantly using up products and so I have to make these posts kind of often. Maybe I should just make this a monthly post so that these posts aren’t so overwhelming for me and for you.  I know I say this every time but, if you don’t know what Empties posts are, I show you all the products I’ve used up in the last little but and give you a little review on each product.  I’ll warn you, most of these products I love.  The Good:  Love Beauty & Planet Coconut Water and…

  • Beauty Empties

Look at all my beauty trash! And no, I don’t mean everything I hate. I mean all of the products I have used up recently. And let me tell you, there is a lot of products up in here. Also, I feel like empty products are never ending. As soon as I do a post on all my empty products, it seems like I have another pile starting.  Anyways, today I’ll be talking all about the products I’ve used up recently and what I thought about them.  The Good:  Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentrate: This is probably my favourite day cream to use when my skin is dry. It’s amazing at…

  • Love Beauty & Planet Coconut Water and Mimosa Flower

If you have never heard of the website ChickAdvisor, it’s a cool website to check out. It’s basically a product review website and you can apply to get some new products for free in exchange for reviewing them. They have lots of different products on this website. From food, to cleaning products, to beauty products.  When I saw the Love Beauty & Planet pop up on ChickAdvisor, I immediately applied to be one of the lucky people to try it for free! I was so excited to get the Coconut Water and Mimosa Flower line. I received the Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash. All of these products smell absolutely amazing.…

  • Beauty Empties January 2018

Another month, another bunch of products I have used up. I don’t know what is it but I have been using up products like nobodies business. I partially think it’s because I have nothing better to do in the winter than stay inside and play with makeup and skincare.  If you don’t know what ‘empties’ posts are, I show you and talk about products that I’ve used up recently. I’ll give a quick review and then let you know if I’d repurchase it.  The Good  Let’s begin with my number one love which is Batiste Dry Shampoo. I’ve discovered the lotus scent is the absolutely best and I’ll always continue…

  • Canadian Beauty Blogger Gift Exchange

During the holiday season I was able to participate in a Secret Santa Gift Exchange with the Canadian Beauty Blogger community. I was so excited because, since I like in Nova Scotia, I’m not able to participate in a ton of Beauty blogger stuff! But this was all done online and through the magic of mail.  The gift exchange was done through Elfster and went so well! I sent off my gift and got a gift!  Today I thought I would share everything my (not so) Secret Santa sent to me!  My secret Santa was Desiree! Her blog is http://www.desireplusane.ca and her Instagram is @desireelaw. Go give her a follow and…

  • Beauty Empties | REVIEW

Yet another fun time of looking through my trash. But really, these posts are one of my favourites to do because its a chance to give small reviews on a bunch of products at once and also I get to throw all this stuff out that has been collecting for a few months. I have quite a few products to talk about so lets just get started! I’m going to do small reviews on each product so you get an idea of what I liked and what I didn’t.  The Good: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream: I used this cream as my night time moisturizer and really liked it.…

  • Dissapointing Beauty Products

Womp womp womp. Another round of disappointing beauty products coming at you. I have a love/hate relationship with these types of posts. On one hand, I find it helpful when someone advises me against a product because they had a bad experience. On the other hand, I don’t find it nice talking badly about products.  So, let me preface this by saying, I love all the brands I’m about to talk about. In fact, some of them are a few of my favourite brands of beauty products. And, just because I don’t like a product doesn’t mean you wouldn’t. Just take everything I say with a grain of salt.  If…

  • Cake Smelling Hair? Cake Beauty Review

I never knew my hair smelling like a cupcake shop could sound so appealing. Enter Cake Beauty.  A girl I work with had some Cake Beauty body products and they smelled like actual cake. No joke. They smelled like the best bakery you’ve ever been in. I knew then I had to try some of their products. I also recently noticed they started selling some Cake Beauty Hair products at Shoppers Drug Mart (YES).  I reached out to a PR representative of this company to see if I could receive some products from them. I’m always so pumped when companies agree to send me products to test out.  Today I’ll…
