• Valentines Day Makeup Look – 3 Ways

I have to say, I’m one of those people who loves Valentines Day. I love celebrating and being with the person I love. I also love doing holiday makeup looks. Themed makeup looks are just so fun to do! This Valentine’s Day I’m spending the day doing some self love and then going to a romantic dinner with my boyfriend and eating my weight in carbs.  Also this year, I thought I would do 3 different makeup looks to celebrate the day. I did a soft and pretty look, a classic look, and a bold look.  Face:  L’Oreal Pro Glow Foundation Tarte Shape Tape Concealer RCMA No Colour Powder Physicians…

  • May Beauty Favourites

May was an interesting month for me. It was the month of my sisters bridal shower that I planned, it was my birthday month, and it was the month I spent a week in bed sick with a terrible cold. For the entire week I was sick I didn’t wear makeup. It did great things for my skin but when I finally got to put makeup on again on my birthday, I felt amazing.  Isn’t it amazing that putting on makeup can instantly make you feel better and put you in a better mood? It’s on of the reasons I got into makeup. I love feeling great about myself and…

  • March Favourites 2017

Well, I would love to say that spring is upon us but it seems like everytime we have a nice sunny day, it’s followed by a day that snows! C’mon mother nature, give us Canadians a break! But, with April here I thought I would round up some of my favourite products from the month of March. I also thought this month I would include more than just makeup. I love to review all sorts of different products so I thought this would be nice. Let me know what you think! My first favourite of the month is the Smashbox Contour Kit. This and the Kat Von D contour kit…

  • Copper Eyes & Vampy Lips

I really liked the last makeup look I did and decided to do another. I’m thinking I’ll do this sort of thing about once a month. Today I decided to do another fall inspired makeup look. I did an amazing copper shimmer eyeshadow on my eyes and a nice dark red lipstick. Again, I’m not makeup artist but I love doing my makeup. Hope you enjoy my look! Face Primer: Benefit Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer Foundation: Dior Star Fluid Foundation (First time using this is a while. It was pretty drying and patchy) Concealer: Sephora Bright Future Color Corrector in Pink & Maybelline Master Conceal in Fair Powder: Laura Mercier…

  • September Beauty Favourites!

Another month has come and gone and we are in full blown fall now. The leaves are turning and the air is crisper. As I’m sitting here drinking my chai tea latte, I’m very much into the spirit of fall time. So, with that being said, September pretty much over that means another beauty favourites. Today i’ll be talking all about the products I have been loving for the month of September! I haven’t had the e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator for very long and I’ve only used it a couple times but I know this will be a go to for me. This lip exfoliator is in a lipstick type tube and you…

  • Products I Regret Buying August 2016

These sorts of posts have become super popular and for good reason. It’s fun to see what products didn’t work out for someone. And saying that, this doesn’t mean that I don’t like these brands. All of these brands have products I love. Also, just because I may not like something doesn’t mean it won’t/doesn’t work for you. Most of the products I’m going to talk about are drugstore and that is just because I do a lot of research before I buy anything high end to make sure it will work for me. So, if you’re nosy like I am and want to see what I regret spending my…

  • A Review of Wet n Wild Face Palettes

Wet n Wild is one of the most inexpensive brands at the drugstore and has been killing it lately. They came out with a bunch of new products and I’m impressed with all of what I’ve tried. Today, I’ll be talking all about the new face palettes they came out with. They recently came out with contour palettes in 2 different colors. The colour selection is not great because they don’t have much for medium to deep skin tones. The colour I got is Dulce Do Leche. It matches my skin tone perfectly. I use the highlighting colour to highlight under my eyes. It’s a nice light yellow colour. The…
