Finally summer is upon us in Halifax. We’ve had a good week of nice ish weather and I feel like summer is finally here. So, I’ve busted out all of my coral makeup items and I’ve been loving it. 2017 Makeup Favourites
Another year gone, another year with me spending WAY too much money on makeup. It has gotten to the point that no one wants to get me makeup for christmas because they just assume I have all the makeup. Which, I mean, is so untrue. Annabelle Cosmetics First Impression
I’m not gonna lie, before this, I never tried Annabelle Cosmetics. I don’t know if it’s that its purely a Canadian brand and so it’s not really hyped in the beauty community but I never tested anything out from them. I know Summer is basically half over for us Canadians and I’m super late on this but today I thought I’d talk about my essential beauty products for Summer. I so wish we had an Ulta Beauty in Canada. Unfortunately summer is coming to an end. It seems like it flew by. But, that makes me so excited for fall. The candles, the sweaters, the scarves, the teas, the dark lipstick, the not wanting to die of heat everytime I step outside. Okay, I’m rambling now. Onto my August 2016 Beauty Favourites! Let’s talk about my go to concealer for this month. This is the LA Girl Pro Conceal and I have mine in the shade classic ivory. I only use this concealer for under my eyes. Colourpop Cosmetics Ultra Matte Lip
Liquid lipsticks have been a huge phenomenon this past year. Every brand has been coming out with them. I had heard so much about everything from Colourpop Cosmetics and I especially wanted to try the Ultra Matte Lips. The last time I checked they had around 44 different shades in this Ultra Matte Lip and they cost $6 (USD). The 4 colours I got are Trap, Tulle, More Better, and LAX. Before applying any of these colours, it is best to exfoliate your lips and use a really good lip balm. Before you put them on, just wipe off the lip balm. I do find these the driest formula of…

Colourpop Cosmetics Blushes
My lovely boyfriend ordered me a bunch of Colourpop Cosmetics for christmas so, I’m gonna have some Colourpop reviews coming up. If you don’t know what Colourpop Cosmetics are they are a newer brand based out Los Angeles and they carry no power products. These products can only be bought on the Colourpop website. All of their blushes, bronzers, highlighters, and eyeshadows are all a cream. The first thing I wanted to review for you guys was the two blushes I got. They are called the Super Shock Cheek.
