• New Physicians Formula Products – The Butter Range

I was perusing my local Shoppers Drug Mart the other day looking for new makeup products and I found a whole bunch of new Physicians Formula products added to their Butter range. Physicians Formula is one of those brands I don’t think gets the hype it deserves. I don’t know why. Maybe the packaging? Maybe the price? I decided to grab 3 products from their butter range that I have never tried but caught my attention. If you want to know what I think about them, keep on reading! If you don’t know, the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer is completely iconic. The scent is like warm coconut, the formula is,…

  • GLAMGLOW Glow Palette

A highlight palette with skincare benefits? Uhh yes please. I was casually browsing the Sephora website, as I do daily, and came across this highlight palette and couldn’t resist. I can’t say no to a good highlight as it is but when you add in other benefits, I throwing my credit card down and paying for express shipping.  Today I’ll be doing a quick review on the Glamglow Hyaluronic Acid Infused Glow Palette.  This palette contains 3 highlight powders; pearl glow, nude glow, and sun glow. All of the powders are infused with hyaluronic acid, Brazilian golden clay, golden gemstones, and a vital flower complex. I’m not comepletely sure what…

  • My Makeup Storage

As someone who has a decent amount of makeup, I love my makeup storage. I don’t have a huge apartment so my makeup storage doesn’t take up much room which is perfect. It also looks really nice and tidy. Is what I have right now going to be my forever solution? Probably not. But, it works for me right now and I’m hoping it will give you some ideas.  If you want to know about my makeup storage and where I got everything, read on! My makeup lives in the corner of my bedroom. My dresser is the perfect height for me to stand at with my vanity mirror and…

  • Valentines Day Makeup Look – 3 Ways

I have to say, I’m one of those people who loves Valentines Day. I love celebrating and being with the person I love. I also love doing holiday makeup looks. Themed makeup looks are just so fun to do! This Valentine’s Day I’m spending the day doing some self love and then going to a romantic dinner with my boyfriend and eating my weight in carbs.  Also this year, I thought I would do 3 different makeup looks to celebrate the day. I did a soft and pretty look, a classic look, and a bold look.  Face:  L’Oreal Pro Glow Foundation Tarte Shape Tape Concealer RCMA No Colour Powder Physicians…

  • 2017 Makeup Favourites

Another year gone, another year with me spending WAY too much money on makeup. It has gotten to the point that no one wants to get me makeup for christmas because they just assume I have all the makeup. Which, I mean, is so untrue. So if anyone reading this ever wants to get me a gift, I will happily accept more makeup.  With this being the start of 2018, a brand new year, I thought I would go through my makeup stash and round up all my favourite products from the last year. I’ll be sure to link any posts dedicated to individual products that I talk about.  If…

  • August Beauty Favourites + 1 Unfavourite

As I said in my last post August was so nuts for me. I was very involved in 2 different weddings, went on a trip for a few days, and worked on top of all that. So, unfortunately, blogging took a back seat to all that. With all that busyness behind me, I am so ready to get back into makeup, beauty, and blogging.  I know everyone says this but how is it almost September? 2017 is literally almost over. But, with that, I can finally talk about all the products I’ve been loving in the month of August! I’m pretty much just picking and choosing products I travelled with.…

  • Summer Beauty Essentials

I know Summer is basically half over for us Canadians and I’m super late on this but today I thought I’d talk about my essential beauty products for Summer. I feel like Nova Scotia has been having a really nice summer. It’s been as humid as always but I love summer so much. Sitting on a patio with good food and drink in my hand is everything to me.  I really wanted to make this post because beauty products change from season to season. At least for me they change. I change the colours of blush, eyeshadow, bronzers, basically everything I wear in the summer. So I wanted to share…

  • Carli Bybel Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette | REVIEW

I have seen so much about this palette around YouTube and the beauty blogger community for a couple years now. I am a huge fan of Carli Bybel but would always think to myself ‘I’ll never be able to get that! It’s only available in the States’. That was until my wonderful friend went to the States and got this for me for my birthday. This review will be all about the Carli Bybel 14 Color Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette by BH Cosmetics.  Well, let me tell you, it was love at first swatch with this palette (this post includes swatches). This is in no way going to be a…

  • May Beauty Favourites

May was an interesting month for me. It was the month of my sisters bridal shower that I planned, it was my birthday month, and it was the month I spent a week in bed sick with a terrible cold. For the entire week I was sick I didn’t wear makeup. It did great things for my skin but when I finally got to put makeup on again on my birthday, I felt amazing.  Isn’t it amazing that putting on makeup can instantly make you feel better and put you in a better mood? It’s on of the reasons I got into makeup. I love feeling great about myself and…

  • Spring Ulta Haul 2017

I so wish we had an Ulta Beauty in Canada. So, when my sister told me she’s was going to the states a couple times over the next few months I recruited her to take my list to Ulta and get me some things I’ve been dying to try. It might actually be good that we don’t have Ulta here because I would spend all of my money there.  I decided to pick up some things that I couldn’t get in Canada but also some things that I just haven’t seen or are hard to get my hands on. Makeup Revolution was at the top of my list for products…
