• Valentines Day Makeup Look – 3 Ways

I have to say, I’m one of those people who loves Valentines Day. I love celebrating and being with the person I love. I also love doing holiday makeup looks. Themed makeup looks are just so fun to do! This Valentine’s Day I’m spending the day doing some self love and then going to a romantic dinner with my boyfriend and eating my weight in carbs.  Also this year, I thought I would do 3 different makeup looks to celebrate the day. I did a soft and pretty look, a classic look, and a bold look.  Face:  L’Oreal Pro Glow Foundation Tarte Shape Tape Concealer RCMA No Colour Powder Physicians…

  • Beauty Oils: Friend or Foe?

Beauty oils have hit the beauty community in a big way. They are a huge trend on instagram and can be used in so many ways! But, they can be viewed as a big no-no especially to people with oily/combination skin. “Will it make me more oily?” “Will it make me break out?” “Do I need another product in my skincare routine?” These are common questions I get asked when I talk with people about facial oils. I asked the same questions! Today I’ll be talking all about facial/beauty oils, if they will work for your skin (they will), and what are some of my favourites! Be warned: you will…

  • Josie Maran Argan Oil Vibrancy Foundation | Review

As you may have seen in one of my most recent posts, I made a trip to Sephora and got a few things. One of them was a foundation for my dry skin. I had been eyeing the Josie Maran Vibrancy Argan Oil Foundation Fluid for a while and I decided to pick it up after hearing really positive reviews about it from my dry skin people.  The first thing that drew me to this foundation was that it contains Argan Oil which is very hydrating. The second was that it’s medium to full coverage. The third, I’m not going to lie, is the packaging. It’s such a pretty container. Because…

  • Sephora Haul Spring 2017

I recently purged my makeup collection and got rid of a bunch of products that I no longer use or no longer work for me (I’ll be doing a post on this). So, of course I used that as an excuse to go makeup shopping. With spring just on the horizon I love spring cleaning and buying new spring things I can get excited about. I picked up a few things I have had my eye on, a few things I needed, and some that, I’ll admit it, were impulse buys.  I’ve heard so many things about Ouai hair care and I’ve been so interested to try it. If you…

  • Sephora Favourites Quench Your Skin

Calling all dry skin folks! I absolutely love these Sephora Favourites sets. They are always such a good value for money and you can try out all kinds of products that you might not normally try. I really recommend any of the Sephora Favourite sets that peak your interest. They have ones for skincare, makeup, haircare, etc.  I also love travel sized products. They are great for travelling and you can get a good sense of how the product will work for you. They usually contain about 4-5 uses at least.  This one called Quench Your Skin peaked my interest because the one thing I need in the winter because…

  • Sephora VIB November Sale Wishlist

If you’ve been living under a rock or are a new Sephora shopper then you might not know that every year in November, Sephora has a 20% off sale for VIBs and VIB Rouge members. I think for regular Beauty Insiders it’s just 10% but correct me if I’m wrong. The sale runs November 4-7 and the 20% off can be redeemed in store or online. The code for online is 20ROUGE. This sale is a perfect time to pick up Christmas gifts, staples that you use all the time, or products that you’ve just had you eye on. Today I’ll be sharing what is on my Wishlist for the…

  • August/September Empties

Wanna see what I’m going to throw out? I use a lot of different products and it’s a big deal to me when I fully use something up. I love being able to give my thoughts on a product after it’s completely done.  I feel like you can get such a sense of the product that way because it’s empty. I don’t typically go through makeup nearly as fast as I go through haircare or skincare so it’s mostly going to be hair and skin stuff! If you want to see what I’ve used up over the past couple of months then keep on reading!   Lets start with makeup. I…
