• My Favourite Skin Tints/Tinted Moisturizers for Dry Skin

I have been an absolute sucker for the natural makeup looks. I have worn full coverage foundations for the last 10 years! Not only does natural makeup take less time but I think it makes me look younger. I have picked up a few more natural looking skin tints over the last few months so I thought I would chat about them a little bit. I have 3 natural skin tints/tinted moisturizers that I wanted to review today. I have the Morphe 2 Hint Hint Skin Tint, the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint, and the Urban Decay Hydromaniac Glowy Tinted Hydrator Foundation. The Morphe 2 Hint Hint Skin…

  • March Beauty Favourites

With missing my February beauty favourites, this is kind of a combination of two months. Within those two months I went away twice and both to sunny destinations. I went to Miami and the Bahamas and both trips were absolutely amazing. If you want to see what I do on my trips, be sure to follow me on instagram. I post a lot on my stories when I’m on vacation. I’m also getting more and more into glowy products. I’m going to do a blog post soon on my go-to glow products but until then I’m going to include some glow in my favourites today. Not only do I have…

  • Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette

I don’t know about other people but when I heard the original Urban Decay Naked Palette was being discontinued, I was a little hurt. The Urban Decay Naked Palette was the first high end eyeshadow palette I ever had. My sister bought this for me for my birthday in 2011. I couldn’t have been more excited because I had spent the last 9 months watching YouTube videos. But, I got excited when Urban Decay announced they were releasing a “Reloaded” version of the original Naked Palette. So, of course, when it released I had to get it because it looked like my neutral eyeshadow heaven. First off, let’s talk logistics.…

  • August Beauty Favourites

Sorry to all of you summer lovers but as soon as one leaf turns brown I’m lighting Bath and Body Works fall candles, sitting in my slippers, and drinking a pumpkin spice latte. So, I’m super excited to be doing my August favourites. It means, the end of sweating doing nothing. It means the beginning of crisp fall weather, pants, and dark lips.  Today I’ll be talking about my most loved beauty products from this past month.  I rediscovered the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder this past month. I found on a day to day basis, using a loose powder was a little bit heavy on my skin. I have this…

  • Beauty Empties | REVIEW

Yet another fun time of looking through my trash. But really, these posts are one of my favourites to do because its a chance to give small reviews on a bunch of products at once and also I get to throw all this stuff out that has been collecting for a few months. I have quite a few products to talk about so lets just get started! I’m going to do small reviews on each product so you get an idea of what I liked and what I didn’t.  The Good: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream: I used this cream as my night time moisturizer and really liked it.…

  • Summer Beauty Essentials

I know Summer is basically half over for us Canadians and I’m super late on this but today I thought I’d talk about my essential beauty products for Summer. I feel like Nova Scotia has been having a really nice summer. It’s been as humid as always but I love summer so much. Sitting on a patio with good food and drink in my hand is everything to me.  I really wanted to make this post because beauty products change from season to season. At least for me they change. I change the colours of blush, eyeshadow, bronzers, basically everything I wear in the summer. So I wanted to share…

  • Makeup Declutter Spring 2017

Spring cleaning at it’s finest! I love/hate going through my makeup drawers and getting rid of old products or products I don’t use anymore. I love it because I can rediscover products that are hidden away and I don’t reach for. I also love it because I can make room for new products hehe. I hate it because even if I know a product doesn’t work for me I want to hang on to it just in case. Just in case my skin type changes, my skin tone changes, or my preferences change. I know it won’t but my hoarding tendencies won’t let me let go of things.  But, every…

  • January Product Empties

Empties are one of my favourite posts because I get to throw out all the stuff I’ve been collecting over the past little while. If you don’t know what empties are I basically talk about all the products I’ve used up recently. These are a really great way to get someones truest opinion on a product because it’s completely empty! So, you pretty much get to go through my beauty trash with me. Hope you enjoy! For the most part I use up skincare products. I go back and forth between different makeup products all the time but when I find a skincare product I like I use it until…

  • Urban Decay Total Perversion Reloaded

Everyday I wear makeup I always wear a black liquid liner. No ifs ands or butts about that. I love the way black liquid liner defines my eyes and makes them stand out. My favourite liquid liners, and easiest to use in my opinion, is the ones that are like pens. They make drawing on eyeliner so easy and it’s much easier to do a wing if you’re into that. So, with that being said, I’m always looking for the next best one. I was shopping on Sephora.com and saw this set. This little set is slightly less expensive than the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, which is my favourite,…

  • Urban Decay Beached Bronzer

Summer is officially upon us! With nicer weather coming to Halifax I decided to expand my collection of bronzers for the summer. How could I not with the packaging of this bronzer? It screams summer. This bronzer came out a few months ago. It comes in 2 shades; bronzed and sun kissed. From the Urban Decay website it says it is finely milled powder that applies smoothly, won’t streak, and gives a radiant glow. It can be applied wet or dry (though I’ve never and will never apply it wet). It doesn’t have shimmer but it’s not a flat matte. I would say it’s a satin finish. It is a…
