• Kaja Play Bento Bronzer, Blush, Highlighter Sculpting Trio

Kaja (pronounced “kah-jah”) Beauty is a K Beauty Brand that is newer to Sephora. They are a California-based company and have the cutest looking products. K Beauty is known to have super adorable packaging and great ingredients and formulas. I love K Beauty products. They always have fantastic skincare products. I wasn’t even planning on buying this during the VIB sale but as I’m planning (hopefully) on traveling next year, I wanted a product I could take on the go. Today I’ll be talking about the Play Bento Trio. The Play Bento is a powder blush, powder highlighter, and cream bronzer. It is basically a face palette in a pocket-size…

  • Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations – Everything You Don’t Know You Need

One of my favourite times of year is coming up. Christmas? No. American Thanksgiving? No. It is the time of year when Sephora puts on 1 of 2 sales they have all year. This is the time of year when I go hard in trying products I have been wanting to try and replenishing products I know I love. It’s also a great time to buy those more pricey items that when you look at the receipt, you cringe. It todays blog post I will be talking all about the products I think you should pick up at this years Sephora VIB Sale. Depending on how much money you spend…

  • Sephora VIB Sale Haul

I did a bad thing. And I did a bad thing 3 times. I made 3 separate orders during the VIB rouge sale November 6-9. When Sephora does their 20% off sale, it’s hard not to go a little crazy. Hardly any of these brands ever go on sale! That’s how I justify it in my head anyways. The sale is also for BI’s, VIB’s, and VIB Rouge’s November 10-15! Check your emails, people!  I’m going to do a quick blurb on everything I bought. If I did longer, this post would be a novel. So, if you’re interested in seeing what I bought during the Sephora VIB sale, keep…

  • Givenchy Noir Interdit Mascara: Worth The Price?

Mascara is one of those staple items in my makeup collection. I can be wearing no other makeup at all but when I have mascara on it opens up my eyes, makes me look more awake, and makes me look more pulled together. So, when this gorgeous Givenchy Givenchy Noir Interdit Mascara arrived on my doorstep I was thrilled.  Today I’ll be doing a quick review on the Givenchy Noir Interdit Mascara and whether or not I think it’s worth the price. First of all lets talk about the packaging. In one word: luxury. It’s quite a heavy tube for a mascara and definitely feels expensive. I love the sleekness of the…

  • Beauty Oils: Friend or Foe?

Beauty oils have hit the beauty community in a big way. They are a huge trend on instagram and can be used in so many ways! But, they can be viewed as a big no-no especially to people with oily/combination skin. “Will it make me more oily?” “Will it make me break out?” “Do I need another product in my skincare routine?” These are common questions I get asked when I talk with people about facial oils. I asked the same questions! Today I’ll be talking all about facial/beauty oils, if they will work for your skin (they will), and what are some of my favourites! Be warned: you will…

  • March Favourites 2017

Well, I would love to say that spring is upon us but it seems like everytime we have a nice sunny day, it’s followed by a day that snows! C’mon mother nature, give us Canadians a break! But, with April here I thought I would round up some of my favourite products from the month of March. I also thought this month I would include more than just makeup. I love to review all sorts of different products so I thought this would be nice. Let me know what you think! My first favourite of the month is the Smashbox Contour Kit. This and the Kat Von D contour kit…

  • Sephora Haul Spring 2017

I recently purged my makeup collection and got rid of a bunch of products that I no longer use or no longer work for me (I’ll be doing a post on this). So, of course I used that as an excuse to go makeup shopping. With spring just on the horizon I love spring cleaning and buying new spring things I can get excited about. I picked up a few things I have had my eye on, a few things I needed, and some that, I’ll admit it, were impulse buys.  I’ve heard so many things about Ouai hair care and I’ve been so interested to try it. If you…

  • Sephora Favourites Quench Your Skin

Calling all dry skin folks! I absolutely love these Sephora Favourites sets. They are always such a good value for money and you can try out all kinds of products that you might not normally try. I really recommend any of the Sephora Favourite sets that peak your interest. They have ones for skincare, makeup, haircare, etc.  I also love travel sized products. They are great for travelling and you can get a good sense of how the product will work for you. They usually contain about 4-5 uses at least.  This one called Quench Your Skin peaked my interest because the one thing I need in the winter because…

  • Urban Decay Total Perversion Reloaded

Everyday I wear makeup I always wear a black liquid liner. No ifs ands or butts about that. I love the way black liquid liner defines my eyes and makes them stand out. My favourite liquid liners, and easiest to use in my opinion, is the ones that are like pens. They make drawing on eyeliner so easy and it’s much easier to do a wing if you’re into that. So, with that being said, I’m always looking for the next best one. I was shopping on Sephora.com and saw this set. This little set is slightly less expensive than the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, which is my favourite,…

  • Too Faced Merry Kissmas

First off, I can’t believe it’s been about a month since I’ve posted anything here. I have been so busy at work and just with personal things so I’m so sorry about that! I also can’t believe I haven’t been posting during my favourite time of the year. But, better late than never.  I saw this Melted Lip set by Too Faced during the VIB Rouge sale and I couldn’t pass it up. I’ve never actually tried any of these Melted Lipsticks and really wanted to so I thought this little set would be perfect! Not only is the packaging super cute but I also love the name of this…
