Kaja Play Bento Bronzer, Blush, Highlighter Sculpting Trio

Kaja (pronounced “kah-jah”) Beauty is a K Beauty Brand that is newer to Sephora. They are a California-based company and have the cutest looking products. K Beauty is known to have super adorable packaging and great ingredients and formulas. I love K Beauty products. They always have fantastic skincare products.

I wasn’t even planning on buying this during the VIB sale but as I’m planning (hopefully) on traveling next year, I wanted a product I could take on the go. Today I’ll be talking about the Play Bento Trio.

The Play Bento is a powder blush, powder highlighter, and cream bronzer. It is basically a face palette in a pocket-size compact which is perfect for travelling. They’re infused with Mangifera indica (mango) seed butter to help the formula blend seamlessly while moisturizing the skin. There are 3 sets of this trio for fair to light skin, light to medium skin, and medium to deep skin.

I bought the shade 01 Butter Up which is best for fair complexions. It is described as delicate pink tones. The blush shade “Pink Cloud” is a medium matte pink. The highlighter shade “Twinkle Lights” is a delicate rose gold. The bronzer shade “Homemade Waffle” is a sweet walnut brown. How cute are those shade names? I die.

I am flipping obsessed with this product. As you might know, I have been completely obsessed with cream bronzers since the spring and I bought the NARS cream bronzer. So, this product was screaming my name. I apply the cream bronzer with a brush and it blends out so nicely and powder products apply really nicely on top of it. Its definitely a bronzer and not a contour colour. It’s warm toned so warms up the skin really nicely.

The blush shade is GORGEOUS. I can’t get over how flattering it is on my skin. It’s a nice neutral toned pink that would flatter so many skin tones. It is also very pigmented so a little goes a long way. I made this mistake the first time I used this and looked quite flushed but I didn’t mind it.

The highlighter shade is also great. I wasn’t sure it would work on my skin tone but it does. I don’t think it will work when I’m super fair, like in the dead of winter, but it works now and looks gorgeous.

I absolutely love this product and highly recommend it! All of the shades are so gorgeous and flattering. There is a trio for almost every skin tone so I think this is great. I can’t wait to travel and bring this with me!
