Vichy Body Care Review

Like most people, when it comes to fall and winter my skin gets dryer. But I have really noticed it in the last two years. Not only has the skin on my face become dryer, my hair has become dryer, and my body has become dryer. Girls know their skin is dry because when they take off their leggings, the leave a little bit of themselves in the leggings. So gross.

So, it’s always helpful to have hydrating body products on hand and today I’m going to do a quick blurb on Vichy Body Care.

Water mists are a great product to have. For a hot day or just a little refresh through the day, they are perfect. You can use them on clean skin or on top of makeup. This particular Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Spa Water is really nice. It has a nice fine mist that doesn’t upset your makeup when you put it on top. Its so refreshing on the skin and it makes my skin feel soft without leaving any sort of residue.

Vichy also has two different shower gels. The first is the Spa Shower Gel-Oil. This is a body cleanser that doesn’t contain soap. It contains 10 different oils to balance the oils in your skin. It is meant to hydrate, illuminate, and beautify your skin. It does all of that really well but, I can’t get past the smell of this product. I used it twice and just wasn’t a fan of the smell. To me it smells like florals mixed with cough medicine. If you’re a fan of cleansing oils though, test it out!

The next shower gel I really like and have been using consistently for about 2 weeks now. It is the Spa Shower Gel-Cream. This is really hydrating and lathers up really nicely. This Gel-Cream is meant to be for lasting comfort, hydrating, and softening to the skin. It also contains 10 different oils to balance the oils in your skin. The scent of this one is more soft and not over powering. It doesn’t strip my skin and makes my skin feel really hydrated.

When I get out of the shower and have used the Spa Shower Gel-Cream, I have been using the Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet. This is meant to give your skin freshness, energy, all day hydrating, softness, and firmness. It definitely leaves my skin hydrated all day long and actually makes my skin feel firm in a good way. It is a very light cream and soaks in pretty quickly. It has a similar scent to the Gel-Cream and is very pleasant. When using the Gel-Cream and the Aqua Sorbet, my skin looks more radiant and softer. They are a winning combo.
