Foundation Friday: Laura Mercier Flawless Lumiere Radiance-Perfecting Foundation

Week 2 of Foundation Friday is upon us! Finding the perfect foundation for your skin type and what you want can be pure hell. But, I’m willing to do the dirty work for you.

A high coverage, luminous foundation that gives flawless skin is everything we want. Well, everything us dry people want. I feel like Laura Mercier is a well-known complexion brand. If theres one thing they do well it’s complexion products.

So today I’ll be talking about the brand new Laura Mercier Flawless Lumiere Radiance-Perfecting Foundation.

What really hooked my on this foundation is that it’s meant for dry skin people. It’s a luminous foundation that is long wearing, provides hydration, and feels weightless. It’s medium-to-full coverage and has highlighting properties in the foundation. This foundation contains Super Crystal Clear Pearl which is light reflecting. It also contains Silver Ear Mushroom Extract which diminishes the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Lastly, it has Vitamin C which makes skin look brighter and evens out your skin tone.

This foundation is $60 and can be found in stores at Sephora or online here.

I love the luxurious packaging of this foundation. It comes in a nice glass bottle and with a pump. I love a foundation with a pump. I use about 3 pumps of this foundation to get a full coverage.

The coverage of this foundation I would say is medium but can be built up to be full coverage with no problem. It’s more of a thing consistency which I really like because it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.

The finish is a natural finish on my skin. I love this finish because it makes my skin look like my skin but just flawless. It still shows some flaws, unless I want them covered. If I want a more dewy look, I can add a drop or two of face oil in.

I think it’s safe to say, this foundation is my new favourite and it will take a lot to complete with it. As you can see below, is the foundation with a full face!
