• Natasha Denona Mini Lila Palette

I feel like over the last few years, Natasha Denona, has blown up. I feel like Natasha Denona’s most famous and popular products are her large eyeshadow palettes. But, not everyone can afford $300 for an eyeshadow. So, when she came out with these mini palettes I wanted to try them out. I have tried out Natasha Denona eyeshadows before but wasn’t amazingly impressed. I saw the mini Camel palette and that looked nice but it was just a neutral palette which is all I have. I then came across the Mini Lila Palette and fell in love. I actually love purple eyeshadows because they look great on most eye…

  • August Beauty Favourites

Sorry to all of you summer lovers but as soon as one leaf turns brown I’m lighting Bath and Body Works fall candles, sitting in my slippers, and drinking a pumpkin spice latte. So, I’m super excited to be doing my August favourites. It means, the end of sweating doing nothing. It means the beginning of crisp fall weather, pants, and dark lips.  Today I’ll be talking about my most loved beauty products from this past month.  I rediscovered the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder this past month. I found on a day to day basis, using a loose powder was a little bit heavy on my skin. I have this…

  • It Cosmetics Superhero Eyeliner and Mascara

If you didn’t know, It Cosmetics has amazing skincare products. They also have absolutely amazing makeup products. One of the most famous makeup products It Cosmetics product carries is their Your Skin But Better CC Cream. I can’t say enough good things about that CC Cream. So when I received another amazing package from It Cosmetics containing a couple makeup products, I was super pumped.  Today I’ll be talking all about the It Cosmetics Super Here Mascara and Liner.  The It Cosmetics Superhero liner is a 24-hour liquid gel eyeliner. It has a brush tip applicator and triple black pigment complex so it creates a really black line. I found…

  • GLAMGLOW Glow Palette

A highlight palette with skincare benefits? Uhh yes please. I was casually browsing the Sephora website, as I do daily, and came across this highlight palette and couldn’t resist. I can’t say no to a good highlight as it is but when you add in other benefits, I throwing my credit card down and paying for express shipping.  Today I’ll be doing a quick review on the Glamglow Hyaluronic Acid Infused Glow Palette.  This palette contains 3 highlight powders; pearl glow, nude glow, and sun glow. All of the powders are infused with hyaluronic acid, Brazilian golden clay, golden gemstones, and a vital flower complex. I’m not comepletely sure what…

Finally summer is upon us in Halifax. We’ve had a good week of nice ish weather and I feel like summer is finally here. So, I’ve busted out all of my coral makeup items and I’ve been loving it. I don’t feel like its summer yet until I wear coral on my eyes, my cheeks, and my lips. • Water Face Powder? Ft. Becca Cosmetics

Have you ever wanted to put on face powder and it be made of 50% water? Becca Cosmetics Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder has just answered all of your dreams. As a person with dry skin, I always dread putting face powder on because I know it has to set my foundation but it can also make me look super dry. If I apply to much it makes my face look cakey. If I don’t apply enough, my cheek products don’t blend out well enough.  When this super interesting product came out and I started to see reviews, I knew I had to try it.  The Becca Hydra-Mist Set &…

As someone who has a decent amount of makeup, I love my makeup storage. I don’t have a huge apartment so my makeup storage doesn’t take up much room which is perfect. But, it works for me right now and I’m hoping it will give you some ideas.  If you want to know about my makeup storage and where I got everything, read on! My makeup lives in the corner of my bedroom. My dresser is the perfect height for me to stand at with my vanity mirror and…

  • Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer

This concealer has been the talk of the beauty town for a while now. That is for one major reason: it is said to be a dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. If you don’t know what that is, you have been living under a massive rock. Tarte Shape Tape is the best concealer known to mankind. If there is a concealer that is less expensive and just as good, you better believe I’m gonna pick that bad boy out and put it to the test.  This concealer is by an up and coming brand called Makeup Revolution. As far as I know, it’s only available at Ulta. Great…

  • Maybelline Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette

There are three makeup products I am always the most excited to buy and try out. My biggest is foundation. My second favourite is eyeshadow palettes and my third is concealer. I also love trying out anything drugstore. If I can find something amazing at an affordable cost, it’s like winning the lottery for me. So, when I saw the ads start to come out for the Maybelline Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette, I got super excited. The colours are gorgeous and Mayeblline’s eyeshadows are usually really good! This eyeshadow palette is really interesting. It’s not your typical neutral eyeshadow palette. It does have some neutrals but also has some really…

  • April Beauty Favourites

To counteract all the negativity in my last post, I thought I should do a favourites post! I love rummaging through my makeup drawers and looking at all the products I’ve used this month. All of these, actually, were no brainers. I love favourites posts so let’s get on with talking about my favourite beauty products from the month of April.  My journey to find the perfect face primer has been a tough one. I’ve tried so many that I don’t find do anything for my skin. But, the Huda Beauty Complexion Perfection Base Primer is my favourite one that I’ve tried. It makes my foundation glide on like butter and…
