Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Divine Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette – Best Nude Palette?

I have been a Jaclyn Hill stan for a long time. I fell off for a while when I fell off of watching/caring about any beauty influencers but I am back on and I am back on in a big way. People might be a bit skeptical about Jaclyn Hill and her products but I’m going to let the products speak for themselves.

I have a few of Jaclyn Hill’s products and I am mostly happy with them. When I saw this beauty of a palette come onto her Instagram, I immediately knew I wanted it. So today, I’ll be talking about, swatching, and creating an eye look with the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Divine Neutrals Palette.

This is a collaboration with Morphe and Jaclyn Hill. A big question I have is, why is Jaclyn Hill collaborating and making and eyeshadow palette with Morphe if she has her own brand? She did answer this on her instagram stories and said that she cannot produce the quality of eyeshadows for her own brand that Morphe can do. It does still seem a little fishy to me but I don’t own a makeup brand.

I also know that a lot of beauty influencers have cut ties with Morphe. I’m sure they all have their own reasons but it does make me question Morphe as a brand.

Moving onto the palette. This palette contains 12 eyeshadows – 6 mattes and 6 shimmers. They are all neutral/nude shades. The palette comes with a mirror. It is $25 (CAD) and can be purchased on the Sephora website, in store, and on the Morphe website.

There are the shades that are on the Morphe website:

SHADE NAMES

  • Chic Happens: pale pink.
  • Awe Luxe: dusty rose shimmer.
  • Just Barely: dark dusty rose.
  • Birthday Suit: bronze shimmer.
  • Good Vibes: light mahogony.
  • Drippin’: gold shimmer.
  • Boo Bear: eggplant brown.
  • Risqué Business: dark brown shimmer.
  • Booked: chestnut brown.
  • Strip Tease: medium brown shimmer.
  • Cinnamon Roll: dark brown.
  • Exposed: dark brown shimmer.

I have not been able to put this palette down since I bought it. Usually when I’m doing my makeup I have to dip into a couple palettes to get the look I’m going for but I can create so many looks with this palette. I can create daytime looks and nighttime looks so easily.

The mattes blend really nicely and offer a lot of great payoff. The shimmers I find apply best with your fingers, as I find with most shimmer. I also love that all of the colours in this palette compliment each other. It is truly a one and done palette. And for the price? I don’t think you can beat it.

Have you picked up this palette? What is your favourite neutral palette?
