Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask – Skin Rescue Mask?

I’m lucky in the fact that my skin is good. I don’t have bad acne, I don’t have oily skin, I don’t have redness on my skin. My skin is dry and I typically get hormonal small acne on my chin. But, this past week I was getting large spots in places I don’t normally on my skin. My skin was basically looking like crap. So I sent my husband on a little journey to Sephora to grab me a mask to try and help my current problematic skin.

Today I’ll be talking about the Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask to Rescue Problem Skin.

Origins is one of my favourite skincare brands of all time. I feel like the brand is super underrated. Origins is a clean brand which means it doesn’t contain harmful to you ingredients. They have so many great products that cater to every skin type!

The Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask is a multi action mask that helps to rescue troubled skin. The mask contains zinc oxide, which is a skin astringent and has antiseptic properties. It contains sulfur, which absorbs oil that causes acne. The last main ingredient of this mask is camphor, which relives skin irritation and has antibacterial properties.

It is not one of those masks that shows your delving deep into your pores but it does have like a cooling effect on the skin and smells a bit minty so if scents bother you, maybe skip this one.

This mask can be purchased at Sephora, Shoppers Drug Mart, or on the Origins website. It is $36 (CAD).

I have officially used this mask twice this week and I’m so god damn impressed. My skin was not looking hot. I have a pimple under my eyebrow, on my forehead, under my eye, and on my chin. After one use, the spots on my face were way less red and way less swollen. After two uses, the spots are totally gone. My skin looks back to normal.

Usage of this mask is super easy. You apply a thin layer of this white mask to your skin, leave it for 10 minutes, then wash it off with a warm washcloth.

This did strip my skin of moisture but all I did was make sure I moisturized my skin really well after and it was fine. This mask did a great job of rescuing my skin when it was in trouble. It literally did everything it claimed to. If you have problem skin or even just the occasional issues with your skin, please try this out.

Have you tried out this mask? What is your favourite mask for rescuing your skin when it needs it?
