September 2021 Beauty Favourites – Makeup, Skincare
Thank god the weather of sweating as soon as you step out of the house is over. I love summer and all but I thrive in fall. When comfy clothes are a vibe and a whole outfit, I’m all about it. I’ve been trying out and loving a bunch of products this month so I thought I would talk about them.
Today, I’ll be talking all about my favorite beauty products from September.
I have been absolutely loving the Versed Skin Soak Rich Moisture Cream. This cream has algae extract, vitamin E, and squalane to moisturize and nourish the skin. I use this during the day mixed with an SPF and I use this as my night cream. I love that it can be used for day and night. It doesnt feel too heavy on the skin. The Nubian Eyeshadow Palette from Juvia’s Place in an absolutely gorgeous eyeshadow palette. It has a mix of mattes, shimmers, and metallics. The mattes are so smooth and blendable. The metallics are so blinding and they add such an amazing sparkle to the eyes. The rich colours are absolutely perfect for fall. I actually have a full review with swatches here.
My love for luquid blush has grown so much thanks to the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush. Lately, I have been obsessed with this blush in the shade Grateful. It’s a gorgeous true red shade that blends into the skin so nicely and makes you look so naturally flushed. You need to start off with such a small amount of this blush because it’s easy to get carried away. I cannot say enough good things about these blushes.
To help with my dry skin I use The Ordinary Rose Hip Seed Oil. This is 100% pure rose hip seed oil that is cold pressed and organic. Rose hip seed oil has to many benefits – anti aging, supporting healthy skin, hydrating. It gives me such gorgeous dewy glow. It’s such a good price, too. Highly recommend this product.
For lip colours for the month of September I have been using nonstop the Colourpop Lux Liquid Lipstick in Room Service. Its such a gorgeous warm, terracotta nude. It goes perfectly with any makeup look and is such nice mid tone nude. The formula is also really comfortable on the lips. It doesn’t last super long but I love it. I have also been loving the Sephora Collection Liquid Lipstick in 84 Rose Redux. This is one of my favourite liquid lipstick formulas. It’s super long wearing and gives great colour payoff. I really recommend these liquid lipsticks.
