Best Drugstore Lipsticks for Fall – Berries, Nudes, Reds
Fall makeup is officially upon us folks. Warm eyes, less bronzer, darker lips. Even if you wear the same eye look, you can change up your lip colour and automatically have a fall makeup look. I absolutely love wearing fall lips and looking for the best ones.
I do feel like you don’t need to spend a ton of money on a lip colour to achieve a gorgeous look. So I went on the hunt for some new drugstore fall lipsticks to add some into my repertoire. Today I’ll be talking about all the fall lipsticks I think you need for the fall!
For fall, I love berry tones, darker brown nudes, and darker reds. For the past couple of years I was all about the matte lips but now, I’m more open to all finishes of lip colours. I’ll even wear a damn gloss which 2 years ago, I would almost never wear. I have 7 lip colours I want to share with you!
The Elf Cosmetics Plumping Lip Gloss in Praline is a light coverage gloss that gives the lips such a juicy look. This gloss contains coconut oil and vitamin E so nourish and soften the lips. It doesn’t give your lips a painful on tingle lip plump but the glossy look makes your lips look bigger. The colour is a gorgeous nude. It’s more of a cool nude but can go warm if you wear it over a warm nude lip.
The Elf Cosmetics Hydrating Core Lip Shine in Happy. This lip balm adds a sheer touch of colour to the lips and has nourishing vitamin E. Its definitely moisturizing and adds such a nice touch of colour to the lips. The colour happy is a dusty rose and it’s so pretty on the lips.
The Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Vintage is the essential fall lip colour. These liquid lipsticks give off such a vibrant colour that lasts so long. This is a true long lasting liquid lipstick. It’s such a nice deep berry colour that makes you look so fall! This matte lipstick is also super comfortable on the lips.
I always forget how much a love the Physicians Formula The Healthy Lip in Red-Storative Effects. It is such a gorgeous cream liquid lipstick formula. It’s a mousse texture that gives such a rich colour. It has hyaluronic acid and avocado oil so moisturize your lips. The red-storative effects colour is a beautiful red colour. I think this would look great on so many skin tones.
The Essence this is nude lipstick in brave might be my favourite nude lipstick. This lipstick has a rich colour payoff and has a semi matte finish that is so comfortable on the lips. It feels a lot more expensive than it is. The colour brave is a warm toned matte and I can’t get enough!
Another more expensive feeling lipstick is the Catrice Power Plumping Gel Lipstick in Speak up. This is a high shine lipstick with hyaluronic acid with a lightweight gel texture. It’s not a totally full coverage lipstick but is gorgeous on the lips. The colour speak up is another warm nude but this one is more sheer on the lips.
One of my favourite drugstore liquid lipstick formulas is the Maybelline Superstar Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick. A gorgeous fall lip colour from this range is the colour Voyager. This lipstick is LONG wearing. It stays on your lips forever but doesn’t feel super drying. It gives off such a great colour payoff too. The colour Voyager is a gorgeous deep red shade that just screams fall/winter to me.
Those are all the lipsticks you’ll catch me in this fall. I will probably buy more (knowing me) but these are all my favourite drugstore fall lipsticks.
