Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations – Everything You Don’t Know You Need

One of my favourite times of year is coming up. Christmas? No. American Thanksgiving? No. It is the time of year when Sephora puts on 1 of 2 sales they have all year. This is the time of year when I go hard in trying products I have been wanting to try and replenishing products I know I love. It’s also a great time to buy those more pricey items that when you look at the receipt, you cringe.

It todays blog post I will be talking all about the products I think you should pick up at this years Sephora VIB Sale.

Depending on how much money you spend at Sephora per year you get a certain percentage off your purchase. You either get 10%, 15%, or 20% off. Depending on how you look at it, as a good or bad thing, I get 20% off every year. I also get to start shopping November 5th while others can get the sale November 9th or 11th. Some of the products I am going to talk about, I don’t have photos of because I plan on buying these myself or replacing the products I have used up.

For those who don’t know, I have dry skin and I have signs of aging like fine lines. I don’t like matte foundations and I love to look glowy.

For skincare I cannot recommend enough the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream for my dry skin girls. This is my all time favourite night cream. It makes me look hydrated and plump. I love it so much. Another product I can’t recommend to enough people is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. I’m actually going to switch it up and get the peppermint flavour this time. How exciting me for. This is the best lip mask/balm I have ever tried. I apply it every night and maybe once throughout the day and my lips feel amazing. It’s so nourishing and hydrating.

I’m sure after the summer you all thought it was over for wearing SPF but the sun can still get to you in the winter. The Supergoop Glowscreen has SPF 40 and will make you look like a glowy goddess while still protecting your skin from the sun.

Even though The Ordinary isn’t expensive, an extra bit of money off is great. Two products I really love from them is the Hyaluronic Acid and the Rose Hip Seed Oil. They are great for hydrating and the rose hip seed oil has anti aging properties.

If you need a moisturizer you don’t need to think about, the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream is great. Its hydrating but not too much so it works for lots of skin types. I also recommend pretty much any products from Origins. I have never met an Origins product I don’t like. This includes their moisturizers and masks!

Moving onto makeup. The Sephora Collection Liquid Lipsticks are some of my favourite. They last all day, don’t smudge, and don’t dry my lips out. They also have an amazing colour selection.

I am also completely obsessed with the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blushes. They are so stunning and look so nice on the skin. I have 3 and I might get another shade.

For foundation, I have been going to the lighter coverage route lately and then just filling it what I need with concealer. My top complexion choices for the past little bit have been the Fenty Beauty Skin Tint and the Hourglass Vanish Concealer. The Skin Tint is a light to medium coverage and doesn’t look heavy on the skin. The Hourglass Concealer is full coverage but never looks dry on my skin.

Actually, also any of the Hourglass Powder products are amazing. Anything from their Ambient Lighting range is so stunning on the skin.

Fluffy brows are in and for that I love using the Anastasia Brow Freeze. I absolutely love this product. It lets me control really easily what I’m doing to my brows and I can control the shape of them. A little bit of this product goes a long way so I can see this lasting for a long time.

If you’re in the market for a new eyeshadow palette, I love the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Divine Neutral Palette and any of the Natasha Denona Palettes. The Jaclyn Hill Palette newest palette so that might be why I’m so obsessed with it but its a truly great neutral eyeshadow palette. Any of the Natasha Denona palettes are great. The quality of the shadows is unmatched, in my opinion.

As for tools, the only one that I replenish on a fairly regular basis is a Beauty Blender. I use these to apply foundation and concealer. These, in my opinion, do the best job in applying my complexion products. Beauty Blenders are great at blending out product.

So far in my Sephora cart is the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream, the Rare Beauty Liquid Blush in Happy, a Innis Free Eye Cream, a mask set from Origins, the Lys Beauty Lip Oil, and a new Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask.
