The Best New Translucent Powder? RCMA No Color Powder

Well, this powder has been buzzing around the beauty community for a year or more now! I think it first started with one of my favourite YouTubers, KathleenLights and has just spiralled from there! Today, I’ll be talking all about the infamous RCMA No Colour Powder.

RCMA Makeup is a brand that is specifically made for professional makeup artists to be used in film, television, and on stage. All of their products cater to makeup artists in that they are either translucent or come in so many different shades.

The claims: This powder will keep your foundations set and dry without looking cakey or heavy. The No-Color Powder can be used for all powdering purposes. Since it has no filler or pigment it will not alter the color of foundation bases.

Where can you get this in Canada? First off, I have never seen this in store so I don’t think you can get it in store. If you live in the states you can get this powder right from rcmamakeup.net. If you live in Canada this powder can be found on Amazon.ca or Beautylish. The prices varies website to website so if you are interested, shop around!

This powder is giving my Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Powder a run for it’s money. It is a very finely milled powder and doesn’t look powdery on the skin at all. It look like you’re not even wearing any powder. The fact that it’s white might scare some people off but it doesn’t look ashy on the skin and gives off no colour. It also doesn’t alter the colour of your foundation. This powder does have Talc and Silica in it which can be irritation to some people but they both blur away imperfections. It keeps my makeup looking great all day long and doesn’t make me look oily at all. I do bake under my eyes with this powder and it does an amazing job with that.

My only negative about this powder it the packaging. It comes in a spice container packaging which is really hard to get the powder out of. I’ll probably (very carefully) transfer this powder to another container.

Have you tried out this powder? What do you think?
