Favourite Glowy Makeup Products for Summer

Summer is officially upon us and with that brings the glowiest makeup. Some of the glow may be sweat, but a lot I can attribute to the makeup and pre makeup products I use. Glowy makeup isn’t for everyone but I have dry skin and like to look like I have been lightly sweating all day.

In todays post, I’ll be chatting about my favourite products that I use to achieve a very glowy makeup look. It starts with the skin and ends on my lips! Enjoy!

I start with a clean face and then use the ever popular on Tik Tok Glow Recipe products. My steps are the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA +BHA Pore-Tight Toner, then the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++, finishing off the skincare with the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops. Using these products leaves my skin glistening like a newborn baby’s. Highly recommend all of these products. And I’m protected with SPF 40!

For face products I use mostly cream and very little powder. The Bare Minerals COMPLEXION RESCUEâ„¢ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream SPF 30 is an absolutely stunning tinted moisturizer. It has light to medium coverage, has a natural finish, and looks like my skin. What more can I ask for? I don’t really think what concealer you use matters so I didn’t include it.

For cheek products I have been OBSESSED with the NARS Sunkissed Bronzer Cream. It is a perfect neutral undertone for me so I can bronze and contour with this. It blends out like an absolute dream. I haven’t done my makeup without it for the last month. But, I just looked and it’s not longer available so I’m very sad. Another product I have been absolutely obsessed with is the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush. I use the radiant formula. I have never been a massive fan of cream blushes but I am officially converted. These liquid blushes are absolutely gorgeous and I cannot say enough good things about them. I don’t have loyalty to one particular cream/liquid highlight so I’m not going to include one. Can anyone recommend an amazing liquid or cream highlight? Let me know!

I then use the smallest about of a radiant powder. My go to lately has been the Jaclyn Cosmetics Mood Light Luminous Powder. I apply it with a stippling brush so I don’t actually apply that much of it.

On the eyes, I just do a little bronzer in the crease and then a champagne colour on the lids. The inner corner highlight always has to be bright for me. I use so many different colours so again, I won’t include a specific one.

I love powder highlights that blend into the skin and then sometimes I use a more blinding one on top of that. For today, I used the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact. Despite the name, it is not matte at all. It’s so glowy but also can look really natural. For a more blinding highlight today I used the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder.

When I’m doing a super glowy look I like to do a glossy lip. My favourite lip gloss of all time is the Ulta Beauty Juice Infused Lip Oil.

And thats how I want to do my makeup if I want to glow to the heavens.
