• August/September Empties

Wanna see what I’m going to throw out? I use a lot of different products and it’s a big deal to me when I fully use something up. I love being able to give my thoughts on a product after it’s completely done.  I feel like you can get such a sense of the product that way because it’s empty. I don’t typically go through makeup nearly as fast as I go through haircare or skincare so it’s mostly going to be hair and skin stuff! If you want to see what I’ve used up over the past couple of months then keep on reading!   Lets start with makeup. I…

  • Essence Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette

Can you ever have too many neutral eyeshadow palettes? I hope not because I just got one more. I’ve been eyeing the Essence Cosmetics 8 pan eyeshadow palettes for a while and decided to go for it. They have 5 different options for the 8 pan palettes but I decided to go for the nudes because it had the most mix of satins and shimmers. If you want to hear what I think about this palette then keep on reading! This is the All About Eyeshadow Palette in Nudes. I bought this palette at Shoppers Drug Mart for $5.49.This palette comes with 8 eyeshadows. 5 of the eyeshadows area satin…

  • September Beauty Favourites!

Another month has come and gone and we are in full blown fall now. The leaves are turning and the air is crisper. As I’m sitting here drinking my chai tea latte, I’m very much into the spirit of fall time. So, with that being said, September pretty much over that means another beauty favourites. Today i’ll be talking all about the products I have been loving for the month of September! I haven’t had the e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator for very long and I’ve only used it a couple times but I know this will be a go to for me. This lip exfoliator is in a lipstick type tube and you…

  • For The Love of Sheet Masks

If you have no idea what sheet masks are then you’ve come to the right place! Sheet masks are paper, fabric, or gel face masks that are saturated with hydrating, brightening, or perfecting ingredients to pamper your skin. Each of them is already wet and you simply just lay the paper, fabric, or gel over your face, let it sit for however long it says (usually 10-20 mins), and then take it off. It is not a peel off mask and will not hurt when it comes off. I have never tried a more expensive sheet mask because I think the less expensive masks get it done. Today, I thought I…

  • 5 Things I Learned About Having Eyelash Extensions

After years and years of not liking my lashes, I decided to give lash extensions a try. Every day I want to wear mascara I have to curl them, put on waterproof mascara, then put on regular mascara. My lashes are decently long but stick straight and I hate having to go at them with a curler everyday. So, when my friend got eyelash extensions and they looked amazing, I booked an appointment to get them done!  Today I’ll be talking all about the 2 months I had eyelash extensions. They are addicting. It’s amazing how just having long, curled eyelashes can change your whole face. They open up your…

  • Fall Beauty Essentials

I don’t know about where you guys live but in Nova Scotia it is getting a bit chilly and I love it. It’s still hot in the middle of the day but in the morning and the evening there is such a nice crisp to the air. I change up a lot of my beauty items when the seasons change. For fall, I tend to go darker on my lips, nails, and eyes. I also switch up my fragrances (on me and where I live). So, to honour the amazingness that is fall I thought today I would talk about some of my fall beauty essentials. Fall is not complete…

  • Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Review

I kept seeing this mascara in different beauty bloggers hauls and it made me curious. So of course I went on the hunt and found it at a Lawtons. First off the packaging. It looks like it would be a double ended mascara and its not. I like how they didn’t use the original falsies packing and make it a different color. I like the sleekness and shine to this tube. It just feels nice to hold. I also like the color of the tube so it’s easy to spot in my drawer so I can just grab it. The claims of this mascara: Push up cup brush with cup-shaped bristles…

  • October Empties

Let me show you my garbage! Empties are fun because you get a solid review of the product. Since I’ve finished the whole this I have a pretty good idea whether or not I like it. St Ives Oatmeal Scrub and Mask I really enjoyed this exfoliator as a mask and not so much as an exfoliator. It says on the packaging you can use it as an exfoliator or leave it on for around 5 minutes. I like a gritty exfoliator and this is more gentle than I like. As an in shower mask I really liked it. It was quite moisturizing and smelled really good. I’m not sure…
