Urban Decay Total Perversion Reloaded

Everyday I wear makeup I always wear a black liquid liner. No ifs ands or butts about that. I love the way black liquid liner defines my eyes and makes them stand out. My favourite liquid liners, and easiest to use in my opinion, is the ones that are like pens. They make drawing on eyeliner so easy and it’s much easier to do a wing if you’re into that. So, with that being said, I’m always looking for the next best one.

I was shopping on Sephora.com and saw this set. This little set is slightly less expensive than the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, which is my favourite, and comes with a mascara. When I saw this on the website I knew I had to try it. 

This set is called the Total Perversion Reloaded by Urban Decay and comes with their Perversion Mascara and their Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen. 

This eyeliner claims to lay down a bold black line that can be thick or thin depending on your preference. The ink dries quickly; won’t smudge, run, or feather; and lasts all day.

The mascara claims to be lengthening and volumizing with just one stroke and lasts all day. It glides through lashes to separate and define coating lashes with super black pigment. 

Let me start off by saying I love the liquid eyeliner. It’s very black and creamy. It glides on like a dream and very pigmented. I prefer a thinner so it’s very easy to achieve a thin line with this applicator. Compared to the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, it’s very similar. It applies pretty much the same. 

I would love to find a drugstore equivalent to these eyeliners! Let me know if there is one I should try!

The mascara on the other hand is not my favourite. I feel like mascara is kind of a personal item. Some people swear by certain mascaras and others do not like them at all. It all depends on the length of your lashes, how they curl, and how you want them to look. This mascara is a bit too dry for my liking, it also doesn’t curl my super straight lashes. I did like the amount of volume and drama it gave to my lashes though. But, by the end of the day I had little mascara flakies underneath my eye. 

So, I’m glad I tried this little set because it showed me the liquid eyeliner. I will definitely be repurchasing the liquid eyeliner when I’m out but I probably won’t get this set just because the mascara didn’t work for me.
