  • October Favourites 2016

I know everyone says this but I can’t believe it’s almost November. It’s been a pretty busy month and I’ve been getting more and more into my blog. I’m getting more into the swing of taking pictures, writing posts, and putting myself out there. I made a few purchases this month and I am loving everything I got! I love when that happens. Anyways, today I’ll be talking all about the products I’ve been loving for the month of October.  First off, the real star in my eyes. The Master Palette by Mario in collaboration with Anastasia Beverly Hills is absolutely amazing! The colour payoff is amazing, the blendability (not a…

  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario

How could I not get this palette? It is a neutral jewel toned palette that is amazing for fall. I also love the Kardashians, maybe not all their decisions, but their makeup and style is amazing. This palette was created in collaboration with Anastasia Beverly Hills by Kim Kardashians makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic. He has an amazing instagram and Kim Kardashian’s makeup always flawless when he does it. I have never tried any of the Anastasia eyeshadow palettes so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to. This palette is 59$ at Sephora . I looked on the Anastasia Beverly Hills website for this palette but couldn’t find it which I…

  • Essence Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette

Can you ever have too many neutral eyeshadow palettes? I hope not because I just got one more. I’ve been eyeing the Essence Cosmetics 8 pan eyeshadow palettes for a while and decided to go for it. They have 5 different options for the 8 pan palettes but I decided to go for the nudes because it had the most mix of satins and shimmers. If you want to hear what I think about this palette then keep on reading! This is the All About Eyeshadow Palette in Nudes. I bought this palette at Shoppers Drug Mart for $5.49.This palette comes with 8 eyeshadows. 5 of the eyeshadows area satin…

  • September Beauty Favourites!

Another month has come and gone and we are in full blown fall now. The leaves are turning and the air is crisper. As I’m sitting here drinking my chai tea latte, I’m very much into the spirit of fall time. So, with that being said, September pretty much over that means another beauty favourites. Today i’ll be talking all about the products I have been loving for the month of September! I haven’t had the e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator for very long and I’ve only used it a couple times but I know this will be a go to for me. This lip exfoliator is in a lipstick type tube and you…

  • Fall Beauty Essentials

I don’t know about where you guys live but in Nova Scotia it is getting a bit chilly and I love it. It’s still hot in the middle of the day but in the morning and the evening there is such a nice crisp to the air. I change up a lot of my beauty items when the seasons change. For fall, I tend to go darker on my lips, nails, and eyes. I also switch up my fragrances (on me and where I live). So, to honour the amazingness that is fall I thought today I would talk about some of my fall beauty essentials. Fall is not complete…

  • August 2016 Beauty Favorites

Unfortunately summer is coming to an end. It seems like it flew by. But, that makes me so excited for fall. The candles, the sweaters, the scarves, the teas, the dark lipstick, the not wanting to die of heat everytime I step outside. Okay, I’m rambling now. Onto my August 2016 Beauty Favourites! Let’s talk about my go to concealer for this month. This is the LA Girl Pro Conceal and I have mine in the shade classic ivory.  I only use this concealer for under my eyes. It has peach undertones which makes it perfect for cancelling out purple/blue. It’s a full coverage concealer but doesn’t feel drying at…

  • Products I Regret Buying August 2016

These sorts of posts have become super popular and for good reason. It’s fun to see what products didn’t work out for someone. And saying that, this doesn’t mean that I don’t like these brands. All of these brands have products I love. Also, just because I may not like something doesn’t mean it won’t/doesn’t work for you. Most of the products I’m going to talk about are drugstore and that is just because I do a lot of research before I buy anything high end to make sure it will work for me. So, if you’re nosy like I am and want to see what I regret spending my…

  • A Review of Wet n Wild Face Palettes

Wet n Wild is one of the most inexpensive brands at the drugstore and has been killing it lately. They came out with a bunch of new products and I’m impressed with all of what I’ve tried. Today, I’ll be talking all about the new face palettes they came out with. They recently came out with contour palettes in 2 different colors. The colour selection is not great because they don’t have much for medium to deep skin tones. The colour I got is Dulce Do Leche. It matches my skin tone perfectly. I use the highlighting colour to highlight under my eyes. It’s a nice light yellow colour. The…

  • Urban Decay Beached Bronzer

Summer is officially upon us! With nicer weather coming to Halifax I decided to expand my collection of bronzers for the summer. How could I not with the packaging of this bronzer? It screams summer. This bronzer came out a few months ago. It comes in 2 shades; bronzed and sun kissed. From the Urban Decay website it says it is finely milled powder that applies smoothly, won’t streak, and gives a radiant glow. It can be applied wet or dry (though I’ve never and will never apply it wet). It doesn’t have shimmer but it’s not a flat matte. I would say it’s a satin finish. It is a…
